The book “Soil Microbiology and Biotechnology, Volume I, Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria” is a collection of the latest findings regarding the microbiology and biotechnology of soil microbes, plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). It is because such a field is growing incredibly rapid. Research experts and scientists from across the world have contributed to the book containing a wide range of subjects applicable to Microbiologists, Biotechnologists, Plant Biologists, Plant Physiologists, Molecular Biologists, Ecologists, Environmentalists, etc. The most important subjects related to PGPR including their isolation, identification, phylogeny and applications have been analyzed, reviewed and discussed in the book. The biotechnological aspects, which may enhance the applicability of PGPR as inoculums and their use under stress, have also been presented.
